What Is MonoXMono Double Layer Cloth?
MonoXMono Double Layer Cloth (also called two-layer or duplex filter cloth) is a woven filter medium where two distinct fabric layers are interwoven together — the upper (cake-side) layer using fine monofilament yarn for particle retention, and the lower (filtrate-side) layer using coarser monofilament yarn for high drainage conductivity. In single-layer filter cloth, the same yarn must compromise between retention and drainage. In MonoXMono double-layer construction, each layer is optimised for its specific function — eliminating this compromise and producing a cloth with simultaneously better retention, faster drainage, and longer life than any equivalent single-layer cloth.
