What Is a Micronizer Bag?
A Micronizer Bag is the fabric filter element installed at the product outlet of a jet mill (spiral jet or pancake mill) to collect the ultra-fine ground product after classification. In a jet mill, compressed gas streams collide particles against each other at supersonic velocity, grinding them to sub-10 µm sizes. The classifier at the mill centre returns oversize particles for regrinding while fine product exits through the outlet — the micronizer bag captures this fine product without allowing it to escape to atmosphere or contaminate downstream equipment.
