What Is a Plastic Ring & Nylon Bag Assembly?
A Plastic Ring & Nylon Bag is a two-component filter element where a rigid polypropylene or nylon plastic ring — machined or moulded to P1 or P2 standard dimensions — is permanently joined to a nylon mesh or nylon felt filter bag. The ring seals against the filter housing basket seat to prevent bypass of unfiltered liquid around the bag edge, while the nylon bag body provides the filtration surface.
